‘The sky’s the limit’ may be just another way of saying there are no limits, but space does have borders. We just don’t know exactly where they are.
Is mankind alone in the universe? Or are there somewhere other intelligent beings looking up into their night sky from very different worlds and asking the same kind of question?
To consider the Earth as the only populated world in infinite space is as absurd as to assert that in an entire field of millet, only one grain will grow.
Out beyond our world there are, elsewhere, other assemblages of matter making other worlds. Ours is not the only one in air’s embrace.
If the Universe is so big, and so old, and so finely balanced to support life like us, why are we seemingly alone?….Where is everybody?
To expect alien technology to be just a few decades ahead of ours is too incredible to be taken seriously.
The cosmos is within us. We are made of star-stuff. We are a way for the universe to know itself.
There are 193 species of monkeys and apes, 192 of them are covered with hair. The exception is a naked ape self-named Homo sapiens.
After the conversations about Indian philosophy, some of the ideas of Quantum Physics that had seemed so crazy suddenly made much more sense.
